Abfad Limited provide emergency rescue and safety cover for people working at height or within confined spaces, we provide these services to many different industries, including power generation, oil and gas and other onshore and offshore sectors. These services include: Confined Space Emergency Safety Cover for Power Station Boiler, Stacks, Turbines, etc. Tunnel Emergency Safety Cover supplying full BA services for clients personnel. Tanks, Vats, Silos, Vessels, Marine environments Safety Cover. Emergency Safety Cover for other trade personnel working at height and or any confined space working as above. Abfad’s rescue teams, are fully trained and equipped, so that should an emergency arise, they can perform the necessary assessment of the situation and conduct any rescue needed in a safe and controlled way. This ensures casualties are recovered in the fastest time possible and then administered with first aid.

Abfad Limited have developed and patented a Magnetic Positioning Aid, for use with rope access techniques. This Magnet System allows the rope access technician to securely lock and anchor themselves into place on any ferrous structures to counteract the forces which would push them away, giving them the stability needed to carry out required work with confidence and precision. Use of this Magnet System provides a clear advantage to productivity, increasing the speed of work. Abfad's Magnet System is designed to be a long lasting high quality item and is constructed from 316L stainless steel to the highest specifications. Abfad’s Magnet System also has a great number of applications in a wide range of industries outside of rope access. Here at Abfad Limited we have over 10 years’ knowledge and experience lining and repairing storage tanks of all different shapes and sizes, above ground, underground, some in good condition, some in bad condition. One thing is clear from our time in this industry, corrosion is the main enemy of the storage tank and shortens its life span considerably. Solvent free single skin tank lining to provide an internal single skin within the storage tank which encapsulates the steel and prevents corrosion taking place within the tank. Fuelavc® double skin tank lining system with class 1 vacuum pressure leak detection monitoring for above and below ground tanks of any size. Fuelvac® provides two levels of protection within storage tanks, it protects the steel from corrosion due to the protective solvent free coatings and the unique nature of the vacuum system, and also provides 24/7 leak detection monitoring of the tank. Speed of installation means that tank down-times are greatly minimised.

ABFAD Ltd have developed the perfect solution to protect damaged and corroded Storage Tanks, a major problem in the industry. The FUELVAC® double skin lining system, Abfad’s patented solvent-free vacuum monitored lining process, bringing a new, innovative dimension to storage tank repairs and tank corrosion protection. Cost and time savings over traditional methods are significant and tank downtime is greatly reduced, which means that the repaired tank can be brought back into full use in a very short timescale; whereas traditional methods of storage tank maintenance can leave the tank owner without the use of a very valuable asset for an extended period of time. The double skin tank is then connected to remote vacuum monitoring applications that check the integrity of the installation every second of every day, ensuring piece of mind and a totally professional approach to tank storage maintenance. Fuelvac® can be installed in above or below ground tanks of any size.

A new method of pipeline corrosion protection, which provides the answer to both elimination and monitoring of corrosion, has recently been developed Abfad Limited. PIPEVAC® is an innovative pipe protection system which has been developed to eliminate external corrosion by creating a vacuum around a pipe. With the creation of an external vacuum it is now possible to monitor the pipeline in sections, which enables our clients an opportunity to investigate any alarm and take action to protect their assets and the environment from pollution. An internal or external breach of the pipe will activate an alarm as vacuum pressure will not be able to be maintained. PIPEVAC® also prevents against CUI (Corrosion Under Insulation) as the integrated vacuum system prevents moisture and oxygen from attacking the external surface area of the pipe, thereby preventing any of the conditions for corrosion to occur.

Fatigue is the weakening of a material caused by repeatedly applied loads. It is the progressive and localised structural damage that occurs when a material is subjected to repeated loading and unloading. If the loads are above a certain threshold, microscopic cracks will begin to form. Eventually a crack will reach a critical size, and the structure will fracture. Abfad’s Weld Seam Monitoring System monitors a structures vital welds and acts as an early warning indicator, allowing operators to investigate before a catastrophic failure of the structure occurs. Any structure which suffers the potential for stress and fatigue will benefit from Weld Seam Monitoring. This could be wind turbines, bridges, pressure vessel external welds, and any structure that is subjected to cyclic loading.
