thicknessGAUGE sensor systems are used for precise thickness measurements of strip materials, plates and sheets up to 50 mm. Several models with different sensor types, measuring ranges and measuring widths enable inline thickness measurements of different materials and surfaces based on an unmatched price/performance ratio. This fully assembled system comprises a stable frame on which two optical distance sensors are fixed, which detect the thickness of the measuring object according to the difference principle. The sensors are perfectly aligned to each other in terms of their mounting condition. Furthermore, thickness calibration at the factory enables high precision thickness measurements.

The RS422/USB converts digital signals from up to 4 optical sensors into a USB data packet. The new converter has 4 trigger inputs and a trigger output for connecting additional converters.The data are output via an USB interface. The converter as well as the connected sensor are parametrisable by software.

thermoMETER CTLaser pyrometers are used for both industrial measurements and R&D. Two laser beams mark the measurement spot which ensures precise temperature measurements. The specific sensor configuration of the linear displacement sensors in the LDR series is characterized by a short, compact design with small diameter. The compact design and the small sensor diameter facilitate the installation of the measurement systems in locations where space is restricted.
