Analogue angular velocity sensor for railway applications CoriSENS -  MICRO-HYBRID ELECTRONIC GMBH


CoriSENS uses the measurement principle of a gyroscope. It detects angular movement by sensing Coriolis forces. A micro-mechanical spring-mass-system continuously measures the rotation rate and converts the value into an analogue current or voltage output signal. This gyro sensor is designed for applications like Detection of angular rates, e.g. in vehicles, Predictive maintenance, Monitoring of a vehicle’s operation or of a track and backward calculation of curve radius.
