The Dexnyl PEEK rods of BIEGLO offer resistance to elevated temperatures, radiation and chemicals. Their dimensional stability and mechanical strength are second to none. Our PEEK has an excellent hydrolysis and electrical insulation. BIEGLO offers natural, colored and tribological modified PEEK with superior sliding properties and abrasion resistance. We offer a wide range of PEEK rods diameter starting at 6mm to 100mm. Our PEEK rods are also available made of compounded PEEK.

The Dexnyl PEEK tubes can be an intelligent solution for round and hollow pieces. They are mostly extruded or compression molded. But BIEGLO GmbH offers also injection molded PEEK tubes and spin casting PEEK tubes in long and short length and special thin wall tubes. Parts made-up of our PEEK offer excellent hydrolysis and electrical insulation. It can be used for a variety of applications: semi-finished product extrusion, injection molding, compounding, filament and film extrusion, coatings. Our CoPEEK 012P is a high viscous, unreinforced PEEK for extrusion and injection molding, thus it is the standard type for the production of semi-finished products. CoPEEK 021P is medium viscous, unreinforced PEEK for injection molding. But it can also be extruded for the production of films and filaments. CoPEEK 085P is low viscous, unreinforced PEEK for the extrusion of films and filaments. It is also used as the basis for compounds and composites. Our CoPEEK can be processed on machines for thermoplastics without any problems. We recommend a processing temperature of 360 °C to 380 °C. BIEGLO CoPEEK is ISO 10993 certified for medical applications and also has FDA certification.

The Dexnyl PEEK filaments of BIEGLO is a high performance product made by melt spinning. Semicrystalline PEEK has high tensile strength, it is exceptionally resistant to chemicals and can withstand extreme temperatures. These features ensure a longer product life, lower maintenance costs, less machine downtime and wider material design options compared to steel or aluminum parts. PEEK filaments can be used very well for 3D printing. Printing with PEEK requires 360 ° C to 380 ° C. So far, only specially modified 3D printers are able to achieve this heat. Sliced ​​woven and/or unidirectional fibers significantly reinforce matrix material and are a popular additive for composites. PEEK filaments are also used on musical instruments, rackets and wide or narrow woven straps, filtration mesh fabrics and sewing threads. Due to their low weight and high temperature resistance, PEEK filaments are popular in many other industies, such as automotive and aerospace industries.

The Dexnyl PEEK sheet from BIEGLO offers a temperature resistance of up to 240 ° C, as well as resistance to radiation and chemical substances. Sheets from PEEK are usually extruded and cut in standard lenths. BIEGLO can offer PEEK sheets with a thickness of 10mm to 50mm with a standard width of 625mm or 610mm. The standard lengths are 1000mm, 2000mm or 3000mm. Our PEEK sheets are also available as compounded PEEK. The typical applications of PEEK sheet are sealings in high thickness and large diameter. Technical parts that are cut out of the sheet by a jet of water. PEEK Sheets bring the advantage to cut out round pieces of several diametres.

BIEGLO can offer a variety of PEEK compounds, both as raw material and as semi-finished product. PEEK compounds can be supplied with carbon or glass fibers as well as with PTFE and tribological compounds with a mix of PEEK, PTFE, carbon fibers and graphite. In addition, PEEK color compounds can also be supplied. PEEK-CF30 impresses with its outstanding mechanical and thermal properties. The carbon fibers provide increased stiffness, creep resistance and better thermal conductivity. Furthermore, PEEK-CF30 has exceptional resistance to hydrolysis in boiling water or hot steam. PEEK-GF30 impresses with its improved mechanical strength and high rigidity. In addition, the creep resistance and dimensional stability is increased. The glass fibers provide increased life in high static and high temperature applications over a long period of time. PEEK-GF30 does not dissolve in common solvents and resists high gamma rays.

The Dexnyl PEEK shrink tube provides a protective layer for sensitive or critical components as an alternative to traditional materials. PEEK shrink tubes are particularly effective in environments where extreme heat or cold, high pressure, or chemicals, water, or dielectric interference endangers wires and electrical components. BIEGLO can offer PEEK shrink tubing with a diameter of 0.965mm to 9.957mm. PEEK is a thermoplastic polymer that is commonly used instead of metal or other types of plastics. PEEK has a temperature resistance of up to 240 ° C and a special resistance to chemicals.

BIEGLO offers injection molded or machined PEEK screws that can perfectly replace metal screws. Our PEEK screws are applied to imrove the chemical resistance without loosing too much of the mechanical strength. Besides stock made screws, BIEGLO offers custom made screws based on our customers requirements.

BIEGLO offers PEEK micro-mold parts up to 12mm in the largest dimension. Our smallest part to date is roughly 800µm x 300µm x 380µm and the thin wall section near 0.1mm. The feature aspect ratios around 6:1. In addition, the part volume 0.08 cm3 or less, the gate size as small as Ø0.1mm and the ejector pins as small as Ø 0.254mm. PEEK micro-mold parts must have a gate and ejection location consideration and the material selection can greatly affect the fill and definition of features.
