Boxxfresh was born from our kitchen table in 2016 with the vision of bringing people closer to where their food comes from and helping them to source better quality produce. The Boxxfresh philosophy is quite simple: #Allabouttheveg At a time when nutrition and food choices have never been more examined across the media channels, from fad-diets to food allergies… the latest body-miracle book, endless ‘food-selfies’ in restaurants and confusion over a coherent policy for dealing with the national obesity pandemic; the Boxxfresh philosophy might seem rather simplistic… Everybody understands that eating more fruit and veg is going to be a healthier choice. So the big question is why don’t we do it more often? With feedback from hundreds of customers, we understand that convenience is often raised as an obstacle with preparing veg; but the single biggest challenge seems overwhelmingly to be a lack of knowledge and confidence with what to do with it. Once people overcome this challenge, a gateway opens to a lifestyle change where veg becomes the main event without a moment’s hesitation.
