Company EmBraVerde was founded in 2011 in the state of Goias in Brazil. We are specialized in the production of giant Bamboo plants. Therefore, EmBraVerde is operating its own Bamboo plantation for the production of top-quality Bamboo seedlings. Dendrocalamus (D.C.) ASPER and D.C. STRICTUS are the preferred species to grow. D.C. ASPER delivers more than 40 tons of biomass per hectare, every year. The most beautiful culms (poles) are selected for the manufacturing of furniture and for parquet flooring. D.C. STRICTUS also delivers remarkable amount of biomass and is used for civil construction work (concrete enforcement, etc.). The first three month, our seedlings are growing inside a modern nursery that provides sun shadow and computer controlled irrigation system. The rest of time the seedlings are growing outside in the Bamboo field to get really strong. EmBraVerde supports the planting at customer's site and gives guarantee for a 100% planting and growing of the Bamboo.

Vigorous growth. Crown has a pyramidal growing habit, with a moderate growth rate. Flowering is early and abundant. Quick bearer with regular and great yields. Easy to grow, grows best when positioned in full sun, recommended doing adequate thinning. POLLINATORS: Self-pollinating. FRUIT APPEARANCE: Slightly elongated, egg-shape. Light yellow base color with orange to fiery red skin overlay covering 50% to 70% of the surface. The flesh is yellow-orange, red around the pip, firm, and juicy. Mildly aromatic, and good taste. FRUIT SIZE: Medium to large. HARVEST: Late midseason, mid-August. Fantasia can be harvested in two stages depending on the desired qualities of the fruit, regarding firmness and taste.
