Cabernet Sauvignon


The Casale Falchini Campora comes from the vineyard from which its name derives, that of Camporaiolo in Casale, San Gimignano, Siena. It is a Tuscan Red IGT produced almost entirely from carefully-harvested Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Once fermented, it passes to 225l French oak barrels to age for about 2 and a half years, acquiring thickness, structure and elegance. Then it rests in the bottle for just as long, becoming a wine of great harmony, thickness and remarkable complexity. The Campora, Tuscan Red IGT produced in San Gimignano by Casale Falchini is suitable for long ageing - around 15 or 20 years. Among the sensory characteristics is the intense and deep ruby red color, the wide and fine scent with a note of ripe blackberry, vanilla and cooked plum. The taste is intense, soft, warm, with great development and harmony. It is advisable to decant it for at least an hour before serving it at 18 ° C.
