Description
Carotene capsules are a valuable nutritional supplement with carotenoids and vitamin E, primrose oil and skin-friendly vitamins such as vitamin B2, niacin and biotin. Primrose oil contains biologically active, multiple unsaturated, essential fatty acids (especially gamma linolenic acid), which are very important for the human body but cannot be produced by the body itself. A positive accompaniment of carotin is the so called "carrot effect" with which your skin gets a slightly suntanned, healthy colour. Many customers therefore start taking our Carotene Capsules about two to four weeks before the holiday or the sunny summer period. Not recommendable for heavy smokers.

The hawthorn (Crataegus) is native to the northern regions of Europe. Alongside paths and hedgerows, it can be recognised from May to June by its lush, white flourish of blossom and, later on, by its shiny red fruit. Vitamin E is one of the fat-soluble vitamins our body needs but cannot produce itself. It therefore relies on sufficient supply through nutrition. As recently confirmed by the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) vitamin E as an anti-oxidant makes a contribution towards protecting the cells against oxidative stress. Oxidative stress can be caused by smoking, increased UV radiation or other environmental influences. Each Vitamin E 200 I.U. capsule contains 134 mg natural Vitamin E., corresponding with 200 International Units (I.U.).

Each capsule contains 80 mg vitamin C and 400 mg pure hyaluronic acid.
