Technical information The electropneumatic driven, easily adaptable crimper is specific designed to process loose turned contacts. In the range of 0.08 up to 2.5 mm2 (AWG 28 – 14) wires and contacts can be crimped. Standard is a 4/8-indent crimp corresponding to MIL 22520. Optionally is it possible to adapt the machine for other crimpforms. Manual adjustment of the crimping-depth (by option automatically by motor). The machine can be converted for other contacts by using specific tool kits. All tools are easily replaceable. The crimping process is started by a foot switch. The stripper-crimper AM 05 is an electropneumatic driven machine for rapid and reliable processing of loose male and female contacts. The AM 05 has a special selective feeding unit, through sensors and actuators the right placement of the contacts for further processing in the machine is guaranteed. The adjustment of the stripping- and crimping depth is motorical. Up to 50 different programs can be stored. Adjustments and programming is done with the touch Display. The touch Display Shows all important data, functions and errors. The stripper-crimper may be adapted to different contacts or wires using the corresponding tools. In the range of 0.5 to 10 mm² (AWG 20 – 8) wires and ferrules can be crimped. Standard is the trapezoidal crimp corresponding to DIN 46228 part 4. The machine can optionally be adapted to other crimpforms. Adjustments, important data, functions and status will be programed and shown on the touch display. Universal use in the specified range without tool change. I/O interface enables easy integration and time-optimized function in fully automatic systems.
