Silica gel is a natural desiccant: it absorbs water vapour and retains it. As a result, the possible applications of silica gel granules are virtually limitless. Silica gel is therefore used in a wide range of products. Silica Gel Tyvek Silica gel Tyvek is tear- and dust-proof and food-safe. The Silica gel non-food with white granules, available in bags from 0.5 to 1,000 grams. The Silica gel non-food desiccant bags with added orange granules (Silica gel Aihua). This bag contains an indicator, the orange granules, which change to a blue-green colour when they are saturated.

The canister capsules are drop-in desiccant products in capsules designed for pharmaceutical packagings. The advantages are: – Excellent performances – Long lifespan – Patient safety – Easy integration in the production process The innovative design of the canister capsules provides effective 360° moisture absorption, regardless of the product’s position in the package. Furthermore, the capsule’s effectiveness stays the same whether it is placed on the container wall or on the floor. The canister capsules are filled with spherical silica gel or molecular sieves, which means they are free of dust.

Silica Gel Bulk orange features a moisture indicator. When the moisture percentage exceeds 20% RH, the granules will turn from orange to green/blue. When the silica gel is saturated and has attained a green/blue colour, the granules can be heated (up to a maximum temperature of 80 °C; higher temperatures than that would destroy the silica gel granules) until they have turned orange once more. In this manner, the silica gel granules can be reused. The orange silica gel is environmentally friendly and harmless. The gel does not contain any heavy metals as indicator and is free of DMF (dimethyl fumarate).

Oxygen Absorbers are used for the absorption of excess oxygen.

We have the right product for every application; available sizes include 500, 750 and 1,000 grams. The largest of these can absorb circa 800 millilitres of water. The 4DRY desiccants are reusable. When the desiccant is saturated and cannot absorb any more moisture, you can easily prepare the product for reuse by drying it in the microwave.
