Enviro Ceramic invented a novel anti-microbial inert ceramic: this technology is protecting the diffusers ceramic membrane working surface and more importantly inside the Nano pores, preventing algal and biofilm growth that block the pores. The Enviro Ceramic Diffuser (ECD) consists of a high-tech gas diffusion ceramic membrane for efficient micro bubble transmission into water or other suitable liquids. The engineered ceramic membrane is made from ultra-fine nano porous aluminium oxide, sintered at high temperature before being encapsulated in tough polyurethane filled resin with marine grade stainless steel fittings. Ultra-fine mist of micro bubbles appear quickly at pressures of only 1-2 bar (14.5-29 psi) and the unique patented design allows an airlift principle to move anaerobic water through the centre, thereby increasing efficient gas transfer.
