In 1987, Giuseppe Messina founded the ETNADOLCE confectionery business that makes handcrafted marzipan, almond paste, brittles, candied citrus peel, soft nougat, panettoni and colombes. The business soon started setting standards for Italy's handcrafted pastry shops and the most luxurious and prestigious food emporiums. This is the story behind the Mandorlino, a slab of almond and pistachio brittle.
