Hardwired Tool Use Control The SLTC series clicker-type torque wrenches are based on Sturtevant Richmont's legendary LTC/LTCR/LTCS lines of preset torque wrenches. These tool add a tool use control to the accurate, repeatable and durable LTC group of tools by measuring time in the “clicked” position. This reduces operator technique variation through immediate reporting and reinforcement of correct use technique. These tools are ideal for those who wish in inexpensive and highly effective control and who have the PLC and knowledge resources to implement the communication and feedback system. The tool's light weight and cushion grip provide excellent ergonomics and reduce the onset and level of operator fatigue. The ball bearing rockover mechanism enhances the accuracy, repeatability, and durability high-throughput assembly operations require! The torque can be set using any unit of torque measurement: Imperial, S.I., or metric.

The addition of the radio adds rapid operator and controller communication capability so they can be readily incorporated into your error-proofing approach. Uses the legendary SR LTC-Series Preset Interchangeable Head Torque Wrench as it's mechanical base, so you get the same incredible repeatability and durability we provide all our assembly customers. The tool's light weight and smooth vinyl grip provide excellent ergonomics and reduce the onset and level of operator fatigue. The SR Dovetail provides exceptional strength and rigidity, and accepts any of our over 140 Interchangeable Heads. Those tools featuring ratchets use the SR Slide Pin Ratchet, with it's legendary strength and maintenance simplicity.

Error-proofing (PokaYoke) torque screwdriver with limit switch output to eliminate missed tightening Ideal for assembly processes with torque monitoring. After reaching the set torque, the limit switch transmits a trigger signal. This can be picked up by means of a PLC, for example. At the same time, the slip clutch is activated, making over-torque impossible. Series RTDLS are adjustable models. Along the micrometer scale, the desired torque can be easily and quickly adjusted. A locking mechanism prevents unintentional torque adjustment during use. Series RNTDLS are fixed models without scale and are particularly suitable for repetitive tightening operations at the same torque. An additional auxiliary tool (sold separately) is available for each of the 500 cNm models for easier power transmission. For counting tightening operations, the LS screwdriver can be connected to an optional 'CNA-4mk3', for example.

The TCI Multi allows the user to connect up to five Wrenches to be used in assembly production, allowing for complete control of your torque tools and peace of mind for safe recording and logging of vital data. The WrenchStar Multi can be connected to the TCI Multi at the push of a button. The TCI Multi allows easy management, set up and diagnostics of itself via Web Browsers. The TCI Multi can be used stand alone and jobs can be selected and results sent to a PC or Web Page. The TCI Multi accepts Open Protocol commands via Ethernet to select a Job to use with the WrenchStar Multi. The TCI Multi has Web Status Page that allows Ethernet properties, RF properties, logging of messages, and Wrench status to be monitored. Web Page mirrors last Torque and Angle reading from Wrench plus its Torque status (LO, OK and HI). LED lights show real time status of the Wrench connection on the unit. Connection to Crane Transducers is also possible using the Rfm wireless connection device.
