The LMF® system consists of a flow processor, a Laminar Flow Element (LFE) as measuring section, a cable set and a sensor package. The flow measurement is performed by means of Laminar Flow Elements (LFE), which are available in different sizes and cover a measuring range from 0.01 to 700 m³/h. (optionally up to 4000 m³/h).

This high-precision calibration source is able to measure currents up to ±50 mA, voltages ±100 V and temperature setpoint values of 12 thermocouple types, including R, S, B, J, T, E, K and N. Voltage drops across the measuring leads can be easily compensated via the sense line. With “thermoelectric voltage simulation” you can enter °C, °F and K, the temperature scales ITS-90 or IPTS-68 and the reference junction type constant/external. Furthermore, when simulating thermocouples a calibrated external reference junction can be used, with the calibration data being taken into account in the device. The device can be operated both via the keypad and via the Ethernet and USB interface. High-precision angle measuring system with +/-0.1s accuracy for measuring and calibration applications. The signal sampling is done by an interferometric operating principle (laserscale) The graduation period is 1µm, the generated signal period of the output signal is 250nm. A flow straightener greatly reduces disturbances in a flow while a conditioner reduces disturbances and also allows a good redistribution of the speed profile, at each point of the section of the pipe. Thus, these devices make it possible to reduce the upstream straight lengths and to improve the measurement accuracy in the case of a flow measurement. They are therefore to be positioned between a pipe fitting (elbow, reduction, etc.) and a flow measurement element while respecting the distances specified in the standard.
