Our innovative, water-based inclusions, address this while offering a new creative playground, without having to adapt your production process. Also known as candied fruit, glacé fruit is brightly colored fruit pieces preserved in a sugar syrup. The high sugar content extends the shelf life of the product and prevents spoilage. These fruits are commonly used in cakes, breads, and other sweet baked goods, and can be used to decorate cakes. Traditionally these fruits are used during the Christmas holiday season in fruitcakes. Dawn offers a variety of glacé fruit items, including pineapple, cherries, mixes, and peels.
