The inductive linear position sensors of the Ri series operate contactless and wear-free according to a new, revolutionary measuring principle: The angular position is not detected via a positioning magnet but via an oscillating RLC circuit. The sensors are thus completely immune to magnetic fields such as generated by large motors for example. The measuring range of the rugged angle sensors is 360°. As starting variants analog voltage or current outputs and switching outputs are available.

Our rugged inclinometers of the Q20L60 and Q42 series capture almost any inclination and can also be used in systems implementing fast motions or subjected to shocks. We offer sensors for angular ranges of ±10°, ±45°, ±60° and ±85° as well as with freely selectable measuring range 0…360°. The following output variants are available: 4…20 mA, 0.1…4.9 V, 0…10 V, PNP/NPN window as NC or NO contact, IO-Link, CANopen.

Our pressure sensors detect relative or absolute pressures in liquids and gases. The PS series offers pressure sensors with display and various output variants (switching and analog output) and communication via IO-Link. The PT series includes pressure sensors without display with analog output for media temperatures up to -125 °C. The PC series offers communication via IO-Link. The sensors of the PK-series are especially designed for pneumatic and vacuum applications.

Our product portfolio guarantees maximum flexibility for temperature measurement. The temperature sensors of the TS series offer tailor-made solutions by simple programming, flexible process connections and displays. The TTM/TTMS series includes a number of compact sensors - optionally with integrated probe or with M12 connector for separate probes. The T-Gage infrared sensors contactlessly measure temperatures from 0 to 300 °C. The TP-series includes temperature probes in various lengths and diameters.

Flow monitoring Flow monitoring is a procedure that demands a reliable and reproducible surveillance of limit values and flow patterns. Flow sensors detect critical deviations of the flow rate of liquid and gaseous media. Typical areas of application are the monitoring of cooling circuits in welding applications for example, protection against dry running of pumps, as well as the flow monitoring in air ducts and air conditioning equipment. Because of the calorimetric mode the media temperature is also monitored. Flow rate measurement In addition to reproducibility, flow-rate measurement demands a defined degree of accuracy. The flow meters continuously and accurately measure a defined volume of a fluid per unit of time and are suitable for applications where qualitatively consistent process results and a steady supply of fluids is essential. We offer flow meters with calorimetric, magnetic-inductive and Vortex measurement principle for various areas of application.

You can choose from a wide range of accessories for operation, mounting and protection of sensors. The range comprises functional accessories and actuators, accessories for simple and safe mounting as well as safety accessories for protection against mechanical load.

Application optimized read/write heads in the industry-standard design (up to IP69K with HF), allow for optimal integration into your application. Depending on the environmental conditions, read-write ranges of up to 1 m (HF) or several meters (UHF) are possible. The radio interface for read/write heads and data carriers is internationally standardized (ISO 15693 and ISO 18000-6c with HF at UHF).

The rugged tags (data carriers) with high protection class are insensitive to dirt and liquids and are available with a max. memory size of 8 kB. They are passively powered via the read/write head and are maintenance free. Tags for high temperatures and direct mounting on metal allow flexible use under extreme conditions. Tags for use in hazardous areas and autoclavs complete the product portfolio.

The BL ident® interfaces are obtainable as a set together with the gateway and one to four RFID modules in IP20 or IP67. Also available are interfaces for connection to PROFIBUS-DP, EtherNet/IP™, Modbus TCP, DeviceNet™, PROFINET, CANopen und EtherCAT®. A maximum of 16 parallel operating channels are possible. Programmable gateways enable distributed and fast signal processing. Alternatively, the BL compact series offers customized interfaces in the form of compact, fully potted IP67 components.

For location-independent reading and writing of the tags (data carriers), we offer handhelds for the HF or UHF frequency band. The data is displayed on the touch screen of the TA handhelds and can be edited and written to appropriate tags by means of our application software. Depending on the requirements, the handhelds can be supplied with barcode scanner, WLAN and customized application software on request.
