Matcha is an exceptionally exclusive, top-quality green tea obtained exclusively from Tencha leaves. It is used in the tea ceremony - chanoyu. She is called the queen of green teas. How is it different from regular green tea? It is sweeter and brighter than it. All this is due to the fact that the shrubs that are intended for the production of Matcha tea are protected from the sun with special mats before harvesting. This results in an increased production of amino acids that contribute to the deeper and unique flavor of Matcha Tee.
