Inmold specializes in surface technology for plastics manufacturing - focusing on injection moulding and extrusion coating. The company was founded in 2007 as a spin-out from the Technical University of Denmark. The company’s core technologies is: MoldGrfx, a nanostructured coating for free-form surfaces in injection moulding - Holographic foils, nanostructured polymer foils for counterfeit protection of products - Technical foils, polymer foils with surface functionality such as self-cleaning and anti-reflection - Protein coating, integration of fully functional proteins in injection moulded polymer parts MoldGrfx is a technology, by which injection moulded plastic parts can be produced directly with holograms. Beside the decoration aspects, holograms can be used as anti-counterfeiting elements to protect intellectual property.
