We have developed into a leading provider, specialised in various processes for surface coating of transparent plastics. Main focus lies on our abrasion resistant coatings, manufactured under cleanroom conditions. Thermosetting coating systems Using the flooding method a thin layer is being applied or rather “flooded“ on the plate. As a result a flushing effect removing existing dust particles occurs. We can coat plate ware as well as ready deformed parts. Considering provision of material we gladly give you any advice needed. We are familiar in using currently known scratch resistant paint systems, like PHC587, AS4000, AS4700 but also recent paints e.g. XH100, MP100. The plastics used are mainly PMMA or PC. Through these coatings the most transparent plates obtain a higher abrasion resistance, an additional uv protection as well as a higher durability against chemicals or an anti-fog-characteristic. KIRSCH Kunststofftechnik is specialised in digital printing, mainly for transparent plastics. We are offering competent support relating your ideas. Your provided data will be studiously processed for digital printing and regarding series, colour samples will be created and archived for colour-tuning afterwards. When digital printing there is no printing form needed compared to offset printing, so that individual solutions for imprint can be realised easier. For instance personalised imprint or company´s logo on your products. Digital printing is fitted for both series and single production. Our printing dimensions of 3000 x 2500 mm allow your ideas a wide spectrum.

Screen printing allows the imprint of various plastic types. We are mainly specialised in transparent plastics. Flat-plates can be imprinted and reshaped in a following process if required. On our modern semiautomatics we can imprint sizes up to 1500 x 1000 mm, which are especially used for large series. Components up to 3000 x 1500 mm can be imprinted on our large screen printing table. The screen printing area is placed in a seperate hall in order to guarantee highest cleanness. In addition to the mentioned standards we are offering specialised knowledge, accuracy and precision.

We are specialised in varnishing transparent plastics, which are being painted from behind to achieve a profound depth effect. In our specially customised painting booth the plastics are being sprayed with wet paint creating various structures and degrees of gloss. Here we have the possibility to process large-sized parts. KIRSCH Kunststofftechnik specialises in (re)shaping transparent plastics with high optical quality. In our 4 different forming-furnaces we can process panels and components up to 3000 x 2000 mm of size. Special filtration technology, cleanness and experience contribute to form the transparent panels without dust inclusions. Our furnaces are equipped with modern controls to target individually required heating and cooling curves for each plastic. Thus, we can achieve not only an exact temperature during forming, but also control the cooling process accordingly to accomplish a nearly distortionless plastic. We can process plastics two-dimensional, as well as three-dimensional.

The vacuum forming process, implemented with simple tools, is ideal for three-dimensional shaping. In modern thermoforming machines with a table size of 1000 x 660 mm up to 2000 x 1200 mm, both negative and positive moulds can be used. Furthermore, we can process the components with our 5-axle-milling-machines afterwards.

Folding is a method used for linear transformation of plate material. The material is selectively heated in certain areas and then cooled in special devices in ordert o stay in shape. The warming with quartz spotlights allow very short cycle times. Additionally we have a variety of folding benches that allow up to 4 bends per coat on a maximum working length of 2000 mm.

Depending on the material high-pressure-forming can be an advantageous method, where the soft pressed plate is blown into shape with compressed air. This special procedure is being applied by KIRSCH Kunststofftechnik for decades and requires a high degree of cleanness and precision.

With our modern lathes and milling machines we can process thermoplastics according to the highest quality standards. We are using 3-axis as well as 5-axis milling machines. Example for our processing options: 3-axis machining up to a thickness of 80 mm and 1500 x 1000 mm format 5-axis machining up to a thickness of 700 mm and 2500 x 3000 mm format We manufacture according to provided drawings and CAD-data. Our programming stations are equipped with the latest CAD-CAM systems. Direct communication between job preparation and CNC work ensure a smooth process.
