The bristles of strip brushes are fitted in a metal backing tape. This allows the brushes to be mounted by means of holders or inserted into grooves. For example, as replacements for special circular and roller brushes. We supply all standard types in a length of 1.000 mm. We can supply seperate holders for fixing our strip brushes type 25 and type 40. The standard types are produced with backing strips of galvanized steel and filled with polyamide bristles (PA6) resp. mane hair (MAH). If your application allows we recommend you to use our standard types available from stock.

Our special types consist of 10 types of strip brushes with metal backing widths from 1,8 mm to 13,5 mm, which we can produce in a large range of variations.You can choose:- All fill types, e.g. natural bristles and hair, plant fibres, wires and synthetic filaments. - The backing strip material made of galvanized steel, stainless steel (1.4301, 1.4571) or brass.- The trim height (BH) (free bristle length)- The overall length from a few centimeters to the maximum length which can be transported. The strip brush type 60 will mainly be mounted in half-rings with various numbers of grooves around the periphery and therefore used as a roller brush. The ring diameters are 80 mm, 100 mm and 102 mm. We can supply holders for fixing the strip brush type 25 and type 40.

Our sealing brushes are available in many forms and with a wide variety of profiles. These profiles can also be used as mounting flanges, for example in a self-adhesive design, or fixed by screws or by welding. As our standard types which are available from stock we chose our most demanded sealing brushes concerning the trim heights and overall lengths. Our standard types we supply from stock in 7 different profile types made of galvanised steel, heat-resistant also in high thermal fluctuations. The stock types are filled with polyamide (PA6), mane hair (MAH) and phosphorbronze-wire (PHB).

These brush types are especially versatile to mount and visually adaptable. The core material is PVC, resistant to acids and alcalines and suitable for temperatures from -40°C to +60°C. Our special types of sealing brushes consist of 16 particular plastic profiles which we can supply in a comprehensive range of variations. The two constructions of sealing brushes are: Strip brush construction: that means our strip brushes with metal backing are mounted in plastic profiles. Punched brush construction: consisting of a solid plastic profile with bundle holes in which the fill material has been mechanically anchored. Depending on the fill material you can choose a fill density of high EA1, medium EA2 or low EA3. Kullen-Koti strip brushes with metal backing tape have a big advantage over other brush constructions with rigid plastic bodies. This is because they can be formed to ring brushes with a diameter of 12 mm and with a bore of 5 mm up to the biggest diameter of 2.000 mm with an inward diameter of 1.000 mm. The strip brushes in arch form cannot only be produced in half circle form, but also in every other separation form (for example 45°). The larger the dimensions the better multiple brush segments can be mounted around the perimeter. All fill material qualities are possible, e.g. natural bristles and hair, plant fibres and synthetic filaments. As you are able to receive the strip brush with the bristles facing outwards, it is no problem for Kullen-Koti to produce the same brushes with the bristles facing inwards. Even with these brushes you have a dimensional range that cannot be reached with any other brush construction.
