EFB batteries have a reduced internal resistance and guarantee twice the number of discharge cycles compared to a traditional battery. These batteries are suitable for cars equipped with start-stop systems, vehicles without start-stop system but driving in city traffic, cars without start-stop but super equipped. If an EFB battery is factory-installed in a car, it can be replaced with another EFB battery, but if a more powerful battery is desired, an AGM battery can also be installed.
