Our radiator valves DIN 42560 type A and type A OR are designed to be welded onto the transformer wall or on connection pipes. The radiator will be flanged on the four M16 holes (PCD=160 mm). The housing of the radiator valve is made of forged steel S355J2G3 and thus not subject to any leakage as it may occur with casted housing. Due to the metal sealed clap a low leakage is permitted while the soft-sealed radiator valve is absolutely oil- and vacuum-tight. Both types are absolutely tight in operation condition to the outside. Our welding neck radiator valves DIN 42560 type A NW 80 fulfil the tightness requirements and operating conditions in accordance with DIN 42560 as well as EN 50216-8.

Our radiator valves DIN 42560 type B and type B OR for transformers are designed to be mounted between two flanges or between tank wall flange and radiator flange. The flange is made of forged steel S355J2G3 and thus not subject to any leakage. Flange thickness is h=40 mm with recessed body. Our radiator valves DIN 42560 B and B OR NW 80 fulfill the tightness requirements and operating conditions in accordance with DIN 42560 as well as EN 50216-8. Due to the metal sealed clap a low leakage is permitted while the soft-sealed radiator valve is absolutely oil and vacuum-tight (zero-leakage). Both variations are absolutely tight in operation condition to the outside of the transformer.

The Buchholz Relay MBP in accordance with EN 50216-2 protects liquid immersed transformers and reactors with conservator. It will be mounted in the pipeline between transformer and conservator tank. The Buchholz Relay MBP operates as a protection device that can be provided with either two contacts or four contacts for alarm and tripping. Each Buchholzrelay is individually tested in a test facility for tightness and proper functioning.

Dehydrating breathers are being used for liquid immersed transformers in order to protect the insulating liquid and prevent the harmful moisture absorption from ambient air, which occurs when the load on the transformer fluctuates. The dehydrating breather removes practically all moisture from the air that flows through it into the conservator when the transformer is cooling down. This largely prevents any reduction of the dielectric strength and the formation of condensation in the expansion tank. Thus, the dehydrating breathers increases the operational safety of transformers.
Request for a quoteFor more than 65 years we have been a leading manufacturer of radiator valvesfor oil-immersed transformers. Our product range includes radiator valves, protection devices, dehydrating breathers, welding parts for tanks as well as accessories for pressure control and oil level indication. What’s the formula for success that made us become a reliable and long-term business partner for many leading transformer manufacturing companies of today from the time when we established business in 1949? It’s our partners trust in our expertise and in the continuous performance of our network. We have been establishing subsidiaries and partner companies in order to deliver best service and to be able to live up to the rising standards of high quality transformer components. This close cooperation with our partners allows us to meet our own demands in terms of quality and costs of pre-products and finished components within our supply chain. Nowadays we manufacture with more than 100 employees in Germany and Turkey butterfly valves and dehydrating breathers for power transformers as well as oil level indicators, moisture holders, pressure relief devices, and tank components for oil-immersed distribution transformers.
