CALIPRI RC220 is a hand-held profile measuring instrument for high-precision sampling measurement of rolled products. With CALIPRI RC220, the cutting and cooling of samples for the evaluation of the contour is no longer necessary. The use of the optical profile measuring gauge thus speeds up the calibration of new rolled profiles. The system is mobile and can be moved quickly and easily from one rolling line to another. The measuring device can be placed between rolling stands by hand or by means of a guiding device and can measure the profile of the still hot product in a matter of seconds. The result is displayed as a point curve on the system's tablet PC and the profile can be evaluated using predefined measurement specifications and template profiles. When measuring with CALIPRI RC220, the sensor records the rolled profile from all sides and can thus evaluate both simple and complex profile shapes. After the measurement, the result can be exported as a report or data file.

The non-contact Calipri C4x series with rolling stock measurement modules meets the rail industry's need for a simple profile gauge with user-independent results for complete wheelset testing. CALIPRI stands for multifunctionality all along the line. The non-contact measuring technology allows the inspection of wheel profile, wheel diameter, brake disc and back-to-back distance with one and the same measuring device. The patented CALIPRI principle automatically corrects user errors and thus leads to reproducible measurement results. The measuring system consists of a sensor and a tablet PC for defining the measuring sequence and entering limit values. Tolerances that are exceeded are indicated to the user by a traffic light system. The measurement data can then be printed or exported as a report. Two versions are available: Calipri C42 for heavy rail vehicles and Calipri C41 for light rail vehicles.

CALIPRI C12 is a gap and flush measurement system that can be fully integrated into the line and is used for full checks of automobile bodies. The system can be used with standard industrial robots as well as HRC lightweight robots. By using CALIPRI C12 in your production line, you are relying on highly-precise measurement results without any mathematical approximation methods as well as globally unique automatic rotation and tilt correction. The patented CALIPRI measurement method is used here – a further development of the laser light section technology. The results from the automated measuring system can be compared with the data from the mobile gap measurement devices (CALIPRI C10/C14, CALIPRI C11/C15) due to cross-platform evaluation methods in order to detect deviations in the process and to derive appropriate measures from this.

OSIRIS is a stationary, optical measuring system for inline control of dimensional accuracy and surface quality of long products. With state-of-the-art laser light cutting technology and high scanning rates, the OSIRIS systems offer a complete 3D reconstruction of the product. With the OSIRIS Hot version, up to 1,100 degrees hot long products can be analyzed. The measurement results are displayed in real time on the control terminal and thus allow early corrective action to increase throughput and product quality. The surface inspection function automatically detects and classifies deviations in the product surface (peeling, blow-outs, scoring, rolling etc.). In addition, profile cuts of the long product are simultaneously generated to check length dimensions such as width and height, various radii and angles. Different system sizes allow the measurement of large and small long goods.

With the CALIPRI C14 wireless hand-held measuring device, you can evaluate gaps, edges and design lines with high accuracy and in seconds. The measurement is carried out using the patented Calipri principle - a further development of the laser light section method with automatic tilt and roll correction - which eliminates possible misalignment of the sensor. The user defines the position, evaluation strategy and tolerances of the individual measuring points. The measurement is then carried out with a swivelling movement of the sensor. The sensor records the contour from different perspectives - down to the depth of the gap or completely around a fold edge. The software then evaluates the gap dimension, the flush and the radii. The measured values are displayed on the tablet PC and sensor and compared with predefined limit values using a traffic light system. The measurement data can then be printed as a report or exported as a data record and transferred to existing databases.

CALIPRI Prime allows you to measure the main flange dimensions of a railway vehicle wheel (height, thickness, qR) with top precision in just a few seconds. CALIPRI Prime can be used for all common heavy rail and light rail wheels. After measurement, the calculated measurements are displayed within seconds on the sensor and available for digital transfer to your PC. In addition to this basic set, different add-ons are also available that you can purchase at any time - even at a later date. So, for instance, you can also measure wheel width, hollow tread and rollover and analyse the profile line in detail via smartphone.

CALIPRI C11 and CALIPRI C15 are hand-guided gap & flush measuring system for taking continuous inline measurements . The systems are designed for extremely simple operation and most accurate results. Choosing CALIPRI means you can rely on a high-precision measuring system in your production line. The device uses the patented Calipri principle, a latest-generation laser light section technology with tilt and pitch correction that is the only one of its kind in the world. With just a short swiveling motion, the user can capture the entire profile of a gap from multiple perspectives, thus eliminating the need for imprecise mathematical approximations. The measurement results are then displayed on a visualization monitor, where deviations in tolerance are highlighted in color. You have the choice: The wireless Calipri C15 systems with or without trolley for flexible use, or the stationary Calipri C11 systems with linear or 360° cable routing.

ATON Wire is a stationary dimensional measurement system for continuous monitoring of rolling and drawing mill production. To meet challenging return-of-investment requirements NEXTSENSE offers high accuracy at a reasonable price. The ATON Wire gauges measure diameter and ovality of round profiles with a two-axes shadow sensor, a 50mm measurement range and an accuracy of 5 μm. Depending on the material temperature and environment conditions you can choose between three product versions. The measurement system offers an online display of the results. In the top line the Batch ID and the billet or coil counter of this batch is shown. In the next line the current value of the two axes and the calculated ovality value is shown numerically in big digits. Under each of these numbers several statistical values based on the current coil are shown: Maximum, Average, Minimum, Standard Deviation, Cp and CpK. Specially developed for the conditions in final assembly, the automated optical measuring system CALIPRI CB20 measures gap and flush with the highest precision and repeatability, even on poorly or excessively reflective surfaces. The key to this is the patented CaliBreezeTM technology, which uses a thin layer of condensed water to optimize the optical properties of different surfaces for measurement. After the measurement, which only takes a few seconds, the condensation layer disappears without residue. CALIPRI CB20 integrates two patented technologies: CaliBreezeTM technology and the Calipri principle. The latter is a technology renowned in the industry and already integrated in all other CALIPRI solutions from Nextsense.
