NSPV Weather Protected AC Isolating Switches The IP66 Weatherprotected Isolating Switches is a robust range of switches suitable for virtually any external application. Fixed Earth and Neutral connector bars with dual clamping screws per tunnel provide equal stripping lengths and secureclamping for all cables. Terminal bore size is 5 x 6.6mm. Included in the range are 1,2, 3 and 4 pole switches from 20 to 80 Amps. And the colour include white and grey.The basemounted mechanism provides for easier termination and more wiring room. Switch dimensions are 165mm x 82mm with anoverall height of 85mm. A safety feature for mounting switches to metal structures is the insulating caps that cover base mounting screws to totallyprotect them from any live cables. Dual 25mm screwed conduit entries top and bottom (up to 55 amp.) allows four ways to surface wire the switch. 55 amp.and above are also available with 32mm entries top and bottom.

In order to meet the demands for robustness and efficient heat output, we have embroidered the heating element on a glass mesh fabric carrier material. Between the meandering arrangement of the heating strands, we integrate a recess for the temperature switch in the CAD layout. In addition, a second wire is laid concurrently as a PTC thermistor for the electrical connection of the safety switch. After the technical embroidery process, the safety switch is inserted and connected by our company’s respective department. Each prefabricated element is tested for functionality and performance in the final inspection and is delivered to the customer after passing the test. As a semi-finished product, the infrared heating element on glass mesh fabric can be further processed by the customer, e.g. in connection with silicone, rubber or epoxy resin.
