Since the mid-1990s, the PPM Technology Group, headquartered in Asperhofen, near Vienna in Austria, has been involved in the use of material and energy cycles. Our medium-sized company has been using a patented method in our own plant since the beginning of the millennium. This allows processes to be ideally tested and optimised in practice. With its experienced specialist staff, the company is the world market leader for compact and local systems for biodiesel production. Our list of references includes numerous projects in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Spain and Australia. We were presented with the Biofuels Technology Award for this in 2008. In addition to biodiesel plants, biogas plants have also been planned and commissioned successfully. With the continued development of biofuels, plants have been equipped with another plant component – a combined heat and power unit.
