The bending of aluminum profiles used in curtain wall systems is carried out with a patented system by filling with a special alloy. During this process, the cross section is not only calendered with millimetric precision, but it also meets all the perpendicular tolerances, avoiding any kind of deformity deflection or "twisted effect", thus maintaining the perfect geometry required.

The curve of the aluminum profile used for mobile walls is made with a sophisticated soft curving of the profile, which makes the curve with straight ends to the two sides of the extrusion. The service is performed by means of laser pointing installed on the bending machines.

Together with the curving of single or double sunshade systems, Punto Curvatura is capable to twist them to meet the different architectural requirements.

Punto Curvatura is capable, with special cylinders installed on the bending machines, to comply with the most complex curvature requirements for the realization of tensile structures used to cover circuses, military hangars, museums, exhibition stands, gazebos, stages and agricultural structures.

Handling systems often require high-precision curves to follow a well-defined handling pattern. Punto Curvatura can bend all major monorail or two-rail transport lines in packaging equipment, sorting systems, airport baggage conveyor belts, production lines, bottling plants, food handling plants, treadmills and automated transportation.

For the installation on roofs and warehouses, Punto Curvatura realizes the curvature of the substructures of aluminium profiles used for photovoltaic systems.

The demand of aluminium profiles to furnish the HoReCa industry as well as Department Stores with particular sizes and shapes has considerably increased over the last years. The calendering of profiles used in the construction or in the realization of the most modern refrigerated showcases for cafés, ice-cream parlours or restaurants requires special attention for the aesthetics of the profile.

The twisting or torsion of the extruded aluminium, stainless steel, brass or iron profiles is carried out via a clockwise (or counter clockwise) solicitation of the cross section against its axis. In order to avoid that this twisting jeopardizes the stiffening rib, we use a filling system to help the stretching and the compression of the fibres. We are able to twist up to 9 mt profiles!

The process of three-dimensional curving of aluminium, stainless steel, brass or iron profiles is carried out in two steps: torsion and bending. This is a very complex process, which only a high-skilled staff, with a technological equipment, can carry out.

Punto Curvatura adopts a technological solution to bend those profiles that have already been through the powder coating treatment, particularly wooden-paint sublimates.
