The position switches IN73 are the successful answer to an increased demand of the market. The contacts of these new series are specially designed for switching low currents. The IN73 is a hybrid because of the sophisticated fusion of metal and plastic components: All mechanically stressed components are almost completely made of metal. Impressive development of the SHS series is assured with the design of the SHS3 switch. Having to replace the safety hinge switch whenever the equipment is bumped or damaged due to mechanical stress is unnecessary thanks to the solution offered by the SHS series. The hinge setting can be corrected even after the switching point is set. This process can be done with the assistance of the integrated adjustment system. The hinge switch is also reusable even when the system itself needs to be converted. Thanks to change kits, the operator can redefine the switching point without compromising the IP 67 protection rating.

Mechanically highly stressed components – such as the rotating head – are made of metal. This makes it extremely robust and durable. The plastic housing, on the other hand, is light and functional. A variant with M12 plug connector allows a particularly simple connection to the machine. Another user-friendly feature is the possibility of flexible contact assembly: The contact combination of NC and NO for monitoring the door position and the guard locking can be freely combined at the factory.
