Pressure transducer - DAP

This transducer can be used anywhere thanks to its small size. Designed to work without a measuring chamber (uses a flush front diaphragm instead), this transducer is ideal for any measurements where the material to be measured may leave problematic residues. The range of suitable applications is even greater thanks to a choice of screw-on or weld-on adapters. These convert the pressure-induced deflection of the diaphragm into a change in electrical resistance, which can be amplified, measured and processed by external electronic circuitry.

The differential pressure transmitters of the PD-39X series measure the pressure difference indirectly using two absolute pressure sensors. The dual-sensor design with numerical differential formation also outputs the line pressure values via the digital RS485 interface and guarantees a high overload resistance. The additional analog current or voltage output is primarily used to output the differential pressure range, which is freely rangeable within the line pressure range.

The industrial pressure transmitter DMP 334 has been especially designed for use in hydraulic systems up to 2200 bar. The base element of DMP 334 is a thinfilm sensor, that is welded with the pressure port and meets high demands of foolproofness and reliability. All of characteristics and the excellent mesurement data of DMP 334 as well as distinguished offset stability offer a pressure transmiter with easy handling, reliability and robustness for hydraulic user. The Suvis GmbH offers flat pressure sensors (see photograph), which we produce ourselves and which can be used for classical static pressure measurements on solid surfaces like automobile frames. The flat pressure sensors are applied especially in cases where one cannot place a borehole in the respective surface. Hence, flat pressure sensors represent “transportable” static pressure boreholes, which one can glue on the surface of the flow body. The photo shows typical flat pressure probes. Typical dimensions are 17 mm (diameter of the flat disc) and 0,5 mm as diameter of the pressure borehole. The disc consists of bronze, while the measurement tube is made of high quality steel.
