SADDLE STITCH

multiple sheets of paper laid together and stapled through the fold line

Description

Saddle stitched booklets are made of multiple sheets of paper laid together and stapled through the fold line, with usually 2 staples. A sheet folded in half is 4 pages (front and back included). Thus, the number of pages is a multiple of 4. Including cover pages will add 4 extra pages. The Saddle stitched booklet is perfect for magazine-type print media with a low or medium number of pages, up to approximately 64 pages. The main examples of saddle stitch binding use are: restaurant menus, notices, results reports, textbooks, products or companies’ catalogs, periodicals magazines, exhibitions, trade show, newspapers, notebooks, etc.
