SLURRY DRYER

Fluid Bed Drying Using Ceramic Balls as Auxiliary Heating Transmission

Description

The slurry material is continuously fed into the fluid bed chamber which is filled with ceramic balls. As the material is supplied into the chamber it gets quickly dried by the combination of convectional heat from the fluidizing heated air and by conduction heat from the heated ceramic balls. The slurry material will adhere to the fluidized ceramic balls and will get instantly dry. During the process the collision of the ceramic balls will pulverize and make the dried product get peeled off from the balls. As the product gets dried it becomes lighter allowing to be conveyed by the fluidizing air and then discharged through the dust collector/ bag filter housing. This process guarantees a quality fine powder product with extremely low moisture content and particle size close to its primary one. Due to its high efficiency and its compact design “Slurry Dryer” has been widely used for the drying of chemical, ceramic, glass, battery material, metal, resin, among other slurries.
