SPHERICAL ROLLER BEARINGS

With decades of experience, we manufacture spherical roller bearings at KIS that can support large radial and axial forces in both directions. The perfect solution for applications that have to withstand massive loads. Due to the design of two rows of pendulum-shaped rollers in a common, hollow-ball raceway in the outer ring, our spherical roller bearings can support large radial and also axial forces. This makes them perfect for applications that have to withstand high loads and shocks and compensate for shaft bending or misalignment. In addition to conventional spherical roller bearings (which have no seal and have either a tapered or cylindrical bore), there are also application-specific variants developed for special requirements (e.g. sealed spherical roller bearings or bearings with optimised load ratings). Spherical roller bearings offer high performance and efficiency and are available in a wide range of sizes and designs.

IKO PILLOBALLs are compact selfaligning spherical bushings which can support a large radial load and a bidirectional axial load at the same time. These bearings are available in insert type, diecast type and lubricationfree type depending on the type of sliding surface. In the insert type, a spherical inner ring makes contact with a special copper alloy bushing with superior runin properties. In the diecast type, a spherical inner ring makes direct contact with the bore surface of the body of special zinc diecast alloy. In the maintenancefree type, a spherical inner ring makes contact with a special selflubricating PTFE liner. Thus, a smooth rotational and oscillatory motion can be achieved with superior antiwear and load properties in each type. PILLOBALL Rod Ends have either a female thread in the body or a male thread on the body, so they can be easily assembled onto machines. There are many models of Spherical Bushings, but they are basically divided into steelonsteel types and maintenancefree types according to the kind of sliding surfaces. Steelonsteel Spherical Bushings have inner and outer rings of highcarbon chromium bearing steel, of which sliding surfaces are phosphatetreated and then drycoated with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2). They can, therefore, operate with low torque, and have excellent wear resistance and large load capacity.
