IKO Spherical Bushings are compact selfaligning spherical bushings with inner and outer rings in contact with the sphere, which can support a large radial load and a bidirectional axial load at the same time. There are many models of Spherical Bushings, but they are basically divided into steelonsteel types and maintenancefree types according to the kind of sliding surfaces. Steelonsteel Spherical Bushings have inner and outer rings of highcarbon chromium bearing steel, of which sliding surfaces are phosphatetreated and then drycoated with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2). They can, therefore, operate with low torque, and have excellent wear resistance and large load capacity. They are especially suitable for applications where there are alternate loads and shock loads. They have wide applications mainly in industrial and construction machinery.
