Probe Buddy™ is a smart testing device that checks the integrity and health of an oxygen probe from United Process Controls and from other manufacturers. It’s also used to imitate the output signals of a working probe to check the scaling and operation of the process control system. The AccuCarb® Carbon/Oxygen Probe is a high accuracy zirconia oxygen sensor designed for the heat treating industry. This carbon sensing probe is a new, second generation zirconia sensor, specifically designed for highest accuracy, longest life and lowest cost. The AccuCarb® Advanced Probe is specifically designed for thermal toughness and can be installed and removed from a hot furnace in one-quarter of the time of conventional carbon sensors.

The AtmoProbe™ is an industrial atmosphere sensor that provides extremely accurate and repeatable measurements, and may be used in a variety of atmosphere measurement applications. The proprietary design of the AtmoProbe™ utilizes a 100% solid zirconia electrolyte sensor mounted within a solid zirconia seat. The solid slip-cast zirconia sensor eliminates seams and seals near the measurement point that typically cause offsets and premature failures of most oxygen probes. Furthermore, the unique secondary 100% zirconia seat serves as a shock absorber and provides an extremely robust mechanical design that can handle repeated temperature cycling and mechanical stresses without damage.

The AccuCarb® Ceramic Probe is a high accuracy zirconia oxygen sensor designed for the heat treating industry. AccuCarb® Ceramic Probe is a patented, ceramic sheathed probe, high temperature probe, specifically designed for generator and for metal sintering applications. The standard model has an integral type K thermocouple and a tube fitting for air purge burnout of soot.

The AccuCarb® LTA Sensor is specially designed oxygen probe for annealing atmospheres and temperatures. While the electrode designs of standard oxygen probes fall short due to the high impedance of the device at annealing temperatures, the unique electrode contact and solid electrolyte substrate of the AccuCarb® LTA takes care of this problem. The sensor is also gas-tight for hydrogen applications to ensure safe operation.

The CS87™ and CCS 2000™ series of oxygen sensors are designed for measuring the oxygen partial pressure of the furnace atmosphere. NitroCarb™ is a vacuum-tight oxygen sensor for nitrocarburizing processes. A fully gas-tight design, coupled with low-temperature operation and a special sheath, allows the NitroCarb™ to work in all FNC (nitrocaburizing) environments where other probes simply cannot. United Process Controls' probe certification program is designed to maximize the life of a probe and ensure the most accurate readings possible. All probes are tested in a certified atmosphere against a probe standard and must meet deviation criteria.
