The ViscoDuo-VM 2-component dispenser is a valveless dosing system for static mixing based on the proven progressive cavity technology and thanks to its purely volumetric precise dosing principle, is ideally suited for high-precision dosing tasks. Built according to modular structure, a configuration of the 2-component dosing systems as well as maintenance and part exchange at module level is possible. The material components are mixed downstream of the mixing head only in the mixing tube to prevent material hardening in the system components of the mixing head. After every successful filling of a package, it is a basic condition for precise dosing that the thread is defined and breaks off cleanly. This effect usually occurs with water-like materials - with viscous products, so called semi-solids, but often not: Many products such as creams, gels and ointments pull long threads from the tip of the dispensing needle into the respective packaging. The ViscoTec Pharma Dispensers provide a solution: After a dosing shot of the Pharma Dispenser, the product path through the chambers in the rotor-stator system is blocked, thus preventing dripping of the dosing medium. A valve at the dosing needle or at the pump is not necessary. Thanks to the reversible direction of rotation, retraction can be set after the end of dosing: The material is drawn back into the dosing needle in a defined manner.

The precision volume dosing unit eco-PEN450, made by ViscoTec, enables many applications in the low to medium viscosity dispensing range. It is ideal for dosing grease, paint, sealants, adhesives, oil, silicone, generally abrasive media and many other materials. The preeflow® eco-PEN is a rotating, absolutely pressure-tight displacement system consisting of a self-sealing rotor and stator. The controlled rotary movement of the rotor generates the flow by displacing the medium in the stator. Pumping without changing the medium is guaranteed. As the material can also be conveyed backwards, preeflow® guarantees a clean, controlled material or medium tear-off without dripping. The preeflow precision volume dispenser eco-PEN 300, made by ViscoTec, is ideally suited for dosing tasks with low to high viscosity materials (e.g. dosing of adhesives, fluids or pastes). The proven ViscoTec endless piston principle, which is based on an progressive cavity pump, is a rotating, absolutely pressure-tight displacement system consisting of a self-sealing rotor and stator. Due to the controlled rotary movement of the rotor, delivery is generated by displacement of the medium in the stator. Pumping without changing the medium is guaranteed. As the material can also be conveyed backwards, preeflow® guarantees a clean, controlled material or medium break-off without dripping. Application: Whether dot dosing, with highest volumetric accuracy, most precise bead application with application speed adjustable to the application speed or in potting technology - preeflow means micro dosing in perfection.

The ViscoTec Hygienic Dispenser is available in 3 different sizes, allowing for volumes of 0.35ml up to 5.1ml per revolution. The smallest of dosage volumes can be perfectly dosed with a deviation of only +/- 1%. In addition to FDA-compliant components, and an EHEDG-compliant hygienic design, is the possibility of automatic cleaning via additional connection outlets. The cleaning medium is applied via the outlet in order to carry out automatic rinsing. Alternatively, the new dispensers can be disassembled quickly and cleaned manually. As in all dosing systems from ViscoTec, the VHD uses the proven endless piston technology based on the use of eccentric screw technology. For the VHD, many characteristics have been optimized and specially enhanced for use in the food and cosmetics branch. Among other things, the interior of the dispenser has been analysed and redesigned: the goal being to avoid dead volume and thus prevent contamination through harmful micro-organisms.

The endless piston principle convinces in handling abrasive ingredients: Fillings and dosages in the cosmetics industry are subject to strict guidelines. In addition to the statutory and market standards, there are those required by the product itself. In this case, these are gels with microparticles which push some dosing systems to their limits in the manufacturing process. The contained microparticles, such as ground stone fruit seeds or alumina or plastic particles are very abrasive, but peeling pastes and body scrubs can no longer be imagined without them. Exactly this effect is desired by the consumer in order to remove surface layers of the skin. However, the handling of these highly abrasive pastes is often difficult or damages pumps and other processing machines and increases the wear of the systems extremely ̶ and thus also the running costs.
