BSW is an enterprise in the metallurgic domain of Belarus. The company consists of four main production facilities: steel melting, rolling, steel cord and wire production and pipe-rolling. In September 2015 a new Rolling shop №2 was put into operation. The production capacity is 700 tons of products annually with a perspective of increasing the production up to 1 mln tons. The facility was listed into the register of the most important projects on creation of new enterprises and production facilities which are crucial for the innovative development of the country. The Rolling shop manufactures rolled products Ø5.5 – 22 mm in bundles, coiled bars Ø20 – 50mm, reinforcing bars in bundles № 6-14 and straight bars Ø20 – 85mm. It is expected that approximately 75% of the output will be exported. Meanwhile, its sales in the domestic market will make it possible to fully substitute the imports of rod and satisfy 90% of the needs for straight bars of Belarusian enterprises.
