The medallion design customary on so-called Sarouk-Farahans is classically Persian, as it has all the minor details. Throughout the last six decades of our business history, we have been trying to build on our experience and are proud that today the Farahan name has become in the same level of quality with high caliber traditionally produced hand-spun vegetable dyed carpets. Haj Roohollah Farahani was the founder of Farahan Carpet. He was one of the best rug and carpet traders and producers in Farahan. After Haj Roohollah, his son Haj Ahmad continued his father’s method and extended activities of Farahan Carpet. He traded with the most important carpet businessmen and exporters. He was chairman of Arak carpet association for some years. Nowadays the third generation of our family business reliant on expertise amassed from past generations.
