Since 1990 the Namibia Craft Centre has been operating in Windhoek specializing in hand made craft, arts and gifts. Our key aim is to promote arts and culture of Namibian artists from varied communities and ethnic groups in rural areas. We showcase jewellery, hand-woven baskets, carpets, silk scarves, wooden objects, textiles and embroidered linens, as well as leather goods such as bags and accessories. We support over 4.000 crafters and strive to promote innovation, quality and diversity to provide our visitors with a rich cultural shopping experience. Over the years we have become the most important retail platform for products of craft enterprises and communities in Namibia. All products in our Centre are designed and developed in Namibia. We support sustainable utilization of Namibian natural resources and the use environmentally friendly products. You will be able to discover a large range of unique products of the finest quality. Leon Engelbrecht Design is a proudly namibian company based in Windoek specializing in the manufacturing and hand sewing of leather goods such as bags, wallets or accessories. We also create homeware and textile products, as well as sourcing and selling organic cotton bedding. Our product range includes turkish towels, handtowels, napkins and blankets, robes or scarves and various homeware items. All of our leather products are handcrafted and hand sewn using traditional hand tools and methods. Dinapama Manufacturing and Supplies is a 100% Namibian garment manufacturer. We are masters of custom designed clothing and bag manufacturing of all shapes and sizes. We were officially registered in 2009 and operations started in 2010 with a workforce of 7 people and 5 machines at Wanaheda Municipal stalls and thereafter our workforce increased to over 20 employees. As business grew bigger, we sought for larger premises and we now house over 256 employees and 674 machines and we are currently situated in Windhoek in the Northern Industrial Area in the corner of Simmentaler Street and Cullinan Street. Dinapama Manufacturing and Supplies produces about 978, 000 Pieces annually and we have the capacity to produce three times of what we are currently producing. We want to aggressively supply the African market before we move to the other part of the world. Namibia as a nation needs such a move to industrialise and meet the targets in achieving vision 2030, NDP4 and Growth at Home Strategy.
