Since 1957, FISBA has been privately owned by the Fischbacher family, whose origins date back to the flourishing textile industry of St. Gallen, Switzerland. In 2001, Hans Huber became an equal shareholder of FISBA via HUWA holding. Company shares are also held by the board of directors, as well as the senior management. Since 2012, Martin Wipfli has been President of the Board of Directors. Members are Christian Fischbacher, Ruedi Huber, Werner Krüsi, Alfred Lichtensteiger and Gerhard Breu. From the very beginning it has been a priority to stay progressive in our thinking, without losing sight of the traditional values on which we were founded. This mindset has enabled FISBA to become one of the most innovative suppliers in the optics industry, as well as a trusted partner to our customers. Today, FISBA is a globally leading supplier of customised optical components, systems and microsystems with locations across Europe and in the US.
