THE BENEFITS OF TWO WORLDS Series components made of metal with complex shapes are usually very time-consuming and expensive to put into production -- but luckily there is now a superior alternative for these kinds of demanding workpieces in the form of MIM technology from Zimmer Group! The MIM process allows us to manufacture metal parts of almost any shape using an injection molding process, as easily as though it were plastic! This process lets us elegantly combine the geometrical freedom of plastic injection molding with the outstanding rigidity and wear characteristics of metals. The result is a thoroughly impressive technology for manufacturing metallic series production components with complex shapes -- and at very attractive prices, too!

Laser welding is a very gentle welding technique, as the heat input takes place in a locally very limited area. In this way, it is possible to reliably connect critical components with one another in a materially bonded manner, without the parts annealing. With laser welding, the two welding partners are joined together with as few gaps as possible in order to then weld them together (e.g. press-fit zones such as EloPin® puzzled at any feed or distance). The background to this is that no additional material is generally used in laser welding. Exception for build-up welding or repair welding of e.g. broken tool parts such as punches or cutting plates or injection molding tools for abrasive plastics with glass fiber filling. Materials - almost all metals: e.g. • non-ferrous metals (Cu, CuSn0.15, CuSn6, CuNiSi, ...), • titanium, • steel, stainless steel (1.4301, 1.4404, ...), • spring steel (1.4310), • electrical steel (M235, M270, NO20, NO30, ...), …

Quicky is a compact precast dowel made from a single piece. Assembling and disassembling parts is not required. Quicky is injection-moulded from high-quality branded HDPE plastic and is therefore cheaper than metal-plastic sleeves. The threadless sleeve allows for the anchoring screw to be turned in and out with an electric screwdriver in seconds. The days of risky unscrewing of threaded parts (breakage!) and cumbersome manual screwing of the anchoring screw into threads that are frequently soiled with cement paste are gone at last!
