Depending on the viscosity of the mixing material, CR-Ms with fast running or gear reduced drives are available. The tote tank mixers CR-E are designed for operation on plastic containers with filling openings of 150 mm and volumes from 600 l up to 1,200 l. The customer may choose between various viscosity-related basic versions of fast-running and slow-running mixers with electric drives. The agitator shafts are connected to the drive shafts with sleeve couplings or borne within the gear’s hollow shaft (worm gears). The agitator shafts are balanced for concentric run after assembly. The mixer is mounted on a container traverse bridge, which is included in the scope of supply and clamped with a rapid fixing system to the cage frame of the IBC. The plastic bulk of the container is therefore not harmed by any static or dynamic loads by the agitator. The fixing of the traverse bridge is adjustable for various container models. The impellers are designed to fit through the filling opening 150 mm when being inserted. The electric container mixers are delivered with on-/off-switches with low-voltage breaker.

The mobile stainless steel MIXACO container equipped with wheel s is filled with raw materials and then pushed towards the container mixer by the operator. In this pha se, the container is used as a transport container. In the container mixer, the container is connected t o the mixing head and tilted 180° into the mixing position. During the mixing process, the container together with the mi xing head is therefore used as a mixing chamber. After mixing, the container is tilted back to the basic position. The container with the fi nished mixed material is removed from the mixer, and can now be transported directly for further processing without decanting to a diff erent receptacle. In this phase, the container is once again used as a transport container.

The MIXACO discharge stations are used for dust free emptying of the product into the further processing step (e.g. dosing system into an extruder). The container is fixed in place when moved into the discharge station. Two different executions are available: Type Guide fork Type Platform Differentiated by the way of feeding the container. By means of the moveable container with the mixed material, container with separate trolley, will be positioned in the tumbling mixer. The moveable container will be lifted by a pneumatic stamp. The trolley will be fixed in the tumbling mixer by means of a pneumatically actuated draw-in device. The head of the tumbling mixer formed as a container, fixed on the mixing head with four pneumatically operated clamping jaws including forklift pockets and discharge valve.
