The crack length measuring system FRACTOMAT is a system that works according to the indirect potential method, which is used for the exact measurement and control of the crack length and the crack propagation in fracture mechanics samples. The various interfaces allow use in any test set-up, including any other makes of testing machine. The transducer consists of a crack length measuring film (KRAK GAGE), which is glued to the specimen in an electrically insulated manner like a strain gauge and connected to the FRACTOMAT.

The small testing machine can be used economically for vibrating small fracture mechanics samples or for quality monitoring of small parts during production. Because of the small footprint, the machine can also be used in "hot cells". With simple additions, the machine can then be operated with a manipulator.

This machine type is available in two force ranges; detailed information can be found in the prospectus. The load cell can be attached to the oscillating head or the machine table , depending on the application. The table with the T-slots also allows building components or extensive devices. The control is built into the machine and results in a compact and therefore space-saving solution. The machine is relatively light and can be easily transported and moved around the laboratory

An idea over forty years old to be able to carry out static tests on resonance testing machines in the fastest possible work steps has been implemented with a new, innovative special version of the 100-time proven testing machine RUMUL TESTRONIC. The possibility to directly combine dynamic vibration tests with static tests is particularly attractive. The oscillation of fracture mechanics specimens and the subsequent breaking open of the specimens without having to switch to another testing machine is an efficient and economical application of this special device TPP.

The GIGAFORTE 50 was specially developed for tests in the VHCF area. With a test frequency of 1000 Hz, tests with more than 100 million load changes can be carried out in a short time. Standard specimens and small components can be cyclically loaded in a force- or strain-controlled manner. Technical specifications:

Experiencing excessive vibrations in sensitive mechanical structures or rotating machinery? Tuned Mass Dampers (TMD) and Tuned Mass Absorbers (TMA) provide a simple and effective solution to reduce them. TMA and TMD are mechanical resonant devices used to suppress or absorb vibrations.
