AGRANA starch ethers are used in gypsum, slaked lime, cement and slaked cement to rapidly and reliably ensure the desired product consistency.

AUSTRIA JUICE processes fruits at 13 plants in Europe and one plant in China. The headquarter is located in Kröllendorf, Austria. Freshly harvested fruits are processed using cutting-edge technical processes as soon as they are delivered - this is a precondition for the production of outstanding quality products. AGRANA is Austria's largest producer of straight animal feeds AGRANA produces over 400,000 tonnes of animal feed every year based on the by-products of sugar and starch production, in what constitutes a sustainable recycling economy, and is therefore Austria's largest producer of straight feeds. AGRANA supplies the domestic and European animal feed industry and, via dealers, also farmers with top quality straight animal feedstuffs as by-products of the production of sugar and starch. As animal feed producers, AGRANA's Austrian sugar and starch facilities, as well as the production of bioethanol, are all subject to the relevant animal feed hygiene requirements (Futtermittel-Hygieneverordnung). AGRANA is therefore responsible for ensuring animal feed safety.

Thermoplastic starches from AGRANA are used in composite materials and compounds: The ideal combination of mechanical properties, natural starting materials and biodegradability.

Fruit preparations are special products tailored to customer requirements that are dependent on close research and a high degree of development-based cooperation with customers. Special preparations of high quality fruit, either as a liquid or in pieces, add value to the products of the global fruit industry. Our production facilities are located in close proximity to customers in order to be able to ensure maximum freshness and quality. The raw materials are sourced and processed on a global basis. Naturally, AGRANA also provides organic preparations.

AGRANA’s starch products are used in the textile industry as sizing agents, adhesives for textile webs, textile print thickeners and in digital printing applications. They are ideally compatible with additional finishing agents such as optical bleaching agents, filling agents, synthetic resins and dispersion agents.
