The Groove Master works with an electro-mechanical driven system operated by an IPC. The grooving parameters and batch specifications (tube diameter, wall thickness, length, material, and the number of pipes in one batch) can be entered manually and saved for later or can be chosen among the available recipes within the program.

The core of the Rotoweld technology is its unique vision-based penetration control system. It enables any operator to perform high-quality girth welds after just a few hours of training. Like the welder’s eyes and hands, the system continuously analyzes the image of the root weld pool picked up by a video camera integrated into the welding arm. Unique algorithms use this information to adjust welding parameters, such as travel speed, wire feed rate, arc voltage, or weaving width. This constantly adapts the process to varying conditions, such as changes in the gap, alignment, root face, or temperature. The computer’s fast reaction time means the machine can work at high deposition rates and travel speeds at which weld pool conditions are too critical to be sustained by hand.

Our TRB roller benches are highly stable and have two control options manual and automatic for very heavy pipes or automated pipe operations. TRB roller benches are easy to adjust for different diameter and reduces the production time. Also, automatic TRB can be integrated into a fully automated production line. The ID and OD tracking enable smooth beveling with out of round pipes and it is compatible with our Beaver S Series, except Beaver 3 S. ID tracking is highly recommended if consistent land is required and if a counterbore is not possible to apply. It helps you to compensate for the out of roundness and the deviation of wall thickness. However, the deviation in wall thickness does not matter for OD tracking. There are two types of applications for ID / OD tracking. The first one is the ID / OD tracking module, which can be placed and removed easily on the chuck. The other option is a chuck with integrated ID or ID & OD tracking. ID tracking follows the inner pipe by a spring-loaded roller on the tooling slide. The tool holders are placed on the slide of the ID / OD tracking module to produce required angles and shapes with constant results.
