In order to offer our customers the high savings potential by ultrasonic regeneration of DeNOx – catalysts, we keep our approved and highly developed regeneration method ready for them. In addition, we offer services that mean complete order processing from a single source.

Step by step: From taking the test sample up to the large-scale regeneration of your catalysts Stept 1: Sample taking Let us know when a sample can be taken from the SCR reactor. We will gladly do this for you. Step 2: Analysis Why is the catalyst no longer active? By an analysis of the catalyst sample we get a general overview about the chemical condition of the catalytyst. Step 3: Diagnosis By evaluation of the chemical analysis we find out the cause of the inactivation and determine the necessary regenerations steps. Step 4: Test Regeneration / Measurement Regenerations are executed under laboratory conditions to determine the ideal regeneration procedure. Activity (k) and SO2/SO3 conversion rate will be measured after this in the bench scale. Guarantees The results of the test regeneration are the basis for the guarantee values, which are part of a regeneration offer.

There is a typical case of application for successfully cleaning DeNOx -catalysts in the DeNOx-plant which does not require any complex dismantling and reassembling: The removal of ammonium salt from the surface of DeNOx-catalysts in incineration plants. Here, we have several years of experience in restoring activity from 90 up to 100 %. Besides the cost saving, this procedure has enormous logistical advantages as shorter shutdowns can also be used. Comprising a catalyst volume of up to 50 cubic metres simply requires three to five days which includes the building site installation. During the “Wildeshauser Catalyst Days” in September 2008, incineration plant owners reported their experiences with our in-situ-cleaning, in detail.

EBINGER has a big stock of used honeycombs and plate-type catalysts from various manufacturers at its disposal. It is very intact material which can be adapted to the technical requirements of the customer’s catalyst after our careful ultrasonic regeneration. This adaptation takes place during the regeneration process in our plant, both with respect to the requested activity and conversion rate as well as with regard to the design-related properties of the respective customer’s DeNOx plant. According to the experience gained from ultrasonic regeneration and the reuse of tens of thousands of cubic meters of DeNOx catalyst material, the inactivation behavior of ultrasound-regenerated used catalysts corresponds exactly to that of new catalysts. The savings made by working with used catalysts compared to buying new material is between 35 to 50%. In addition, we are ready to offer dismantling and re-installing of your catalysts. Particularly in case of regenerations which take place during shutdown, a complete service for our customers can be very profitable as all deadlines must be exactly scheduled to fit with one another.

We have a storage capacity of several thousand square metres available. This is partly used for the temporary storage of current orders. Moreover, we are pleased to offer our customers storage space, for example, as reserve storage, at a reasonable rate. This means potential high storage costs can be saved

Moreover, in Europe we can always offer transportation of the catalysts from the client to our plant and back after regeneration. Since the founding of our company, we have been working with a partner who has extensive experience in dealing with the often sensitive goods. Transportation is always undertaken by using air-suspended vehicles and skilled personnel. We also have experience with sea transports. For example, the logistical processing for the regeneration of catalysts from the Finnish Meri-Pori (200 m³) did not cause any problems and was carried out on schedule during a three-week shutdown.
