Volumetric cup fillers enable the volumetric dosing of granular products. They can be fitted to all models of vertical form fill and seal machines and are offered in two series: 6 cups or 12 cups. Both models are equipped with a feed hopper with controlled outlet, a product level sensor, a series of cups made of food-grade material, a fixed lower cup carrier and, in automatic mode, a height-adjustable upper cup carrier with cup level sensor. The product is unloaded by gravity at the inlet of the packaging machine and, for fine products, the unloading system is equipped with a flap that prevents the product from spilling.

The endless piston principle convinces in handling abrasive ingredients: Fillings and dosages in the cosmetics industry are subject to strict guidelines. In addition to the statutory and market standards, there are those required by the product itself. In this case, these are gels with microparticles which push some dosing systems to their limits in the manufacturing process. The contained microparticles, such as ground stone fruit seeds or alumina or plastic particles are very abrasive, but peeling pastes and body scrubs can no longer be imagined without them. Exactly this effect is desired by the consumer in order to remove surface layers of the skin. However, the handling of these highly abrasive pastes is often difficult or damages pumps and other processing machines and increases the wear of the systems extremely ̶ and thus also the running costs.

•Machine adapted for coupling to the conveyor belt of a line already in operation. •The dosing head is cantilevered, and given the absence of its own conveyor, the structure of the chassis is reduced. •In this way we can move the machine, which has wheels, directly to the production line, so that the dosing head remains on the conveyor belt. •This is a benefit not only in terms of functionality and cleanliness, but also modularity, as the machine can be added to or removed from the production line as required and does not have to remain stationary.
