The Gasurveyor 500 Series is the most flexible range of gas detectors available from GMI. By simple selection of hardware and software options, the instrument can be readily configured to suit your exact application. Offering highly accurate and reliable instrumentation in an extremely robust, anti-static case, the Gasurveyor 500 Series measures gases common in many applications. Any combination of flammable gas from parts per million (ppm) through Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) to percent volume, oxygen, carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulphide can be selected to ensure that your exact requirements are met. All of the Gasurveyor 500 Series are dual mode instruments, making them suitable for both surveying work and confined space.

The Leaksurveyor uses a fast response semiconductor sensor reducing the time taken for gas leak surveys on gas distribution networks. The Leaksurveyor detects flammable gas from PPM through LEL to 100 % Vol. Integral Semiconductor Sensor (Range 0 – 10,000 ppm), providing fast response leak detection PPM , LEL and volume flammable gas ranges for leak detection, general safety monitoring and barholing Audible and visual ‘Geiger’ alarm indication on ppm range Integral pump with pressure sensor for flow fail detection with sample path protected by hydrophobic filter

The Oxygas 500 compliments the Gascoseeker 500 with a similar performance, measuring % LEL and % volume flammable hydrocarbons, but with the addition of oxygen for either gas/air or gas/nitrogen/air purging. The Oxygas 500 has the following additional features; automated zero during start-up, manually selectable purge mode. The P-500 variant has an additional part per million (ppm) range of methane. The Oxygas 500 is easy to use with very simple training, as the operation of the instrument follows the operation of the purge cycle. The rugged design allows the Oxygas 500 to be used in harsh environments. The instrument is also fully compatible with our range of calibration software and equipment.

The Shipsurveyor was designed after extensive consultation with shipowners, ship managers and shipping personnel. The result is a range of 8 instruments dedicated to the marine market. The Shipsurveyor is versatile yet simple to use. The feature-rich range of instruments are suitable for all marine applications including confined space monitoring, cargo monitoring and inerting. Up to 5 gases can be simultaneously measured and displayed. The hydrocarbon range, which utilises the latest infrared technology, can be calibrated with Butane, Propane or Methane, depending on application. The Shipsurveyor also comes complete with an impressive and practical suite of application software. Our bespoke software not only allows simple on-board calibration but crucially provides the ability to print calibration certificates. In addition, complete datalogging software comes as standard allowing logged gas readings, with vessel locations, to be uploaded to a PC.
