They were farmers and they made a living from the rice they grew. When the Chhan family moved to France, it was a real cultural shock to them since it was the first time they had left Asia. In just a few weeks, after moving to new premises, "Les nems de mon enfance" will continue to produce the highly appreciated spring rolls and samosas.
