Cosonic Enterprise Corp., established in1978, began as a company in southern Taiwan for manufacturing resistors. We then merged with another firm to produce electrolytic capacitors, which later became our main product line. Later the company further expanded its products lines to include ceramic capacitors, plastic capacitors, metal-oxide varistors and LED which are produced by our joint venture companies. The products range expansion was to help customers obtaining electronic components from one unique source -- Cosonic with quality and service assurance. our main market also moved from Europe/U.S. to China, Brazil, India and Russia. Cosonic sells about 60% of its products under our own brand with the other half going to OEM and ODM customers.
