Due to the structural characteristics of the materials of which they are made, these rollers are used in belt conveyors in handling systems of bulk materials, including sharp and abrasive, mixed size, large and heavy materials, in normal, dusty and aggressive environments. As upper rollers, their field of application is specifically in the loading areas of conveyors to protect the rubber matting from the dynamic action of falling materials. They consist of monobloc base rollers with steel tube and special anti-abrasive rubber rings pressure-aligned on the jacket.

Ultrasonic sensors are non-contact and wear-free position switches which can also be used under rough environmental conditions. A key advantage of these devices lies in the fact that the material and the surface characteristics of the objects to be detected can be almost anything. Solids, liquids, grainy materials and powdery materials can be identified without the shape or the color of the object having any influence to the measured result. In addition, the ability to detect transparent materials such as films and fluids is of particular importance. The shape and color of the objects do not influence the result of the detection. The capability to detect transparent films or liquids is also of special importance. Ultrasonic sensors are used for distance measurement (e.g. detection of diameters, loop control), for fill level detection (e.g. silo detection), for positioning and presence detection (e.g. glass pane positioning, film tear check, glass bottle detection)

Belt conveyors are particularly successful in transporting bulk materials such as mineral ores, stone, sand and grain at high capacities and over long distances. A belt conveyor consists of an endless belt stretched between two drums. Belt conveyors are usually the most suitable solution when stacking material needs to be transported over long distances without stopping. They are used horizontally or with a low slope. The material to be transported can be sand or granule.

The silos can be built in closed manufacturing halls or building, very narrow installation sites and on high steel or concrete structures.

Apron feeders come in varying widths, ranging from 0.6 to 3.0 meters, and lengths spanning from 2.4 to 30.5 meters. Lengths exceeding 4.6 meters are primarily used for material conveyance rather than being an integral part of the feeder. Apron feeders exhibit capacities ranging from 91 to 2,270 tons per hour. The power requirements for apron feeders are approximately twice as high as those for comparable belt feeders. Apron feeders are typically employed in situations involving truck dumps or other scenarios where very coarse materials are handled, such as in the feeding of primary or secondary crushers. When an apron feeder is intended for use under a truck dump hopper with an elongated hopper opening, it’s essential to design the hopper with a taper that widens in the direction of horizontal flow for belt feeders. The CERTOPAC, a fully automatic high-performance bagging machine, packs any type of free-flowing bulk material in pillow bags and gusset bags with a filling weight between 5 kg and 80 kg. Thanks to its high speed, this open-mouth bagging machine can fill up to 1500 bags per hour. Because of the high flexibility of the packaging machine, bags made of woven PP, PE and paper can be processed. Furthermore, the CERTOPAC stands out due to its easy accessibility and high reliability. This high-performance packaging machine is also available as CERTOPAC-S and CERTOPAC-L in addition to the “standard version”. The differences between the variants are the bag magazines (rotating bag magazine or push magazine), the different filling weights and sizes of the bags. Furthermore, the CERTOPAC can also be completely made of stainless steel and equipped for powdery products.

The PRINCIPAC is a fully automatic high-performance bagging machine for open-mouth bags and, with up to 2000 bags per hour, it is one of the fastest in the world. The PRINCIPAC is characterized by high performance and flexibility. Both pillow bags and gusset bags with a filling weight of 10 kg to 50 kg can be processed. The bags can be made of woven PP, PE and paper. This fully automatic open-mouth packaging machine is ideally suited for any type of free-flowing bulk material and with additional equipment such as a dustproof filling spout also for powdery products. Depending on customer requirements, the high-performance bagging machine can also be made entirely of stainless steel. Further options enable the PRINCIPAC to be optimally adapted to customer requirements.

Our product portfolio includes three manual bagging machines for open-mouth bags: SCALPAC-G, SCALPAC-B, SCALPAC-S. All three bagging systems are designed for up to 1200 bags per hour and differ only in the used net weighers. Depending on the product to be filled, a net weigher with gravity, belt or screw feeding is used. Prefabricated open-mouth bags made of woven PP, PE or paper are attached to the filling clamp and fixed by an employee. As soon as the bag is fixed, the weighed product flows into the bag. A conveyor belt transports the filled bag to a bag closing machine, which sews, seals or hot-glues the bag depending on the material. For free-flowing bulk materials, a net weigher with gravity feeding is selected. Moderately flowing products are fed via a belt feeder. For fine and powdery products, the screw feeder is best suited.

The core sampler can be used to take samples of bulk materials which can easily become stuck or settle during sampling due to their particle form. In comparison to standard all-layer samplers for bulk materials, the two-part core sampler has no gap dimensions in which the medium can become stuck while it is being removed. This makes it possible to take a proper sample of powders and granulates through multiple layers, for example glass balls or metal powders. Depending on the size, the stainless steel sampler can be used for a wide range of different containers, for example big bags or small containers. The bulk material sampler takes a representative core sample and is ideal for use in various laboratory and industrial applications.

The screw elements can be mounted on a square shaft. You transport bulk materials into bins or silos via rotary movements.

The HO-MA bottle unscrambler positions bottles in the correct production position. The bottles are fed to the HO-MA bottle unscrambler as bulk material. By an interaction of sensors and pneumatics upside down bottles are detected and transported back to the sorting process. Sorted in the correct position, they are positioned by an individually adapted format part in such a way that they are directed onto a conveyor belt and smoothly integrated into the production process.

Bulk storage silos made of steel are the perfect solution to store the dry bulk material for a long time. The cylindrical shape and the conical bottom allow a complete discharge of the product. The flat bottom silo has a flat service which means it can gives a full support to the silo. This type of silo is used for both short-term and long-term storage of free flowing bulk materials. On the other hand hopper silos are used for the short or /medium term storage of free flowing materials. Compared to flat bottom silos, hopper silos have capacity shortcomings. Our modern steelwork fabrication shops have computer-aided design and detailing (CAD), which is linked directly to factory floor computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery, creating a genuine seamless CAD/CAM environment. The accuracy of the computer-generated details being transmitted directly to the CNC machinery increases the quality standards of the production.
