Our Sand filtration media is a naturally clean and is helpful for applications like swimming pools filtration, drinking, and wastewater filtration. The sand media has an increased surface area that has higher particulate holding capacity, thereby: • Improving particle removal whereas providing optimum water flow. • Allowing for deeper particle bed penetration. • Increasing filter run time. • Sub-angular shape provides for optimum turbidity entrapment. • Less than 1% acid soluble impurities prevent mineral leaching deterioration. • Washed, oven dried and screened to meet specifications. • High-quality silica sand and consistent uniformity. • Meets AWWA B100-09 standard and ANSI/NSF Standard 61
